Black Box: HD View System for distribution of multimedia content in real time Compatible with any CM Software / Ideal solution for Digital Signage Hallbergmoos, April 16th, 2008 - The new HD View System from Black Box, specialist for IT and telecommunications solutions, distributes high-definition video and stereo audio signals in real time. The device is compatible with any content management software and is thus ideally suited for Digital Signage applications.Furthermore, the integrated control set allows the total control of the system. The HD View series by Black Box distributes, controls and manages multimedia content, with signals transmitted over a distance of up to 300 meters. Receiver units can also be interlinked to install display units, such as video screens, stand-alone monitors or signboards, independent of their range. Thanks to the integrated RS-232 function, monitors connected can be controlled in groups via broadcast. In addition, monitors can be controlled and queried individually and bidirectionally. "Therefore only the administrator or a certain user group can modify or configure the system." The product series consists of transmitter and receiver units respectively, 8-port splitters and a video tuner, and can be configured individually depending on the application. The modular design guarantees the quick extension of the system at any time as well. "Easy installation and a minimum of maintenance required keep investment costs low", adds Bürger. "Added to that is the current control function, which makes it possible to either turn on or turn off the entire monitor network or certain groups of monitors.
